Welcome to the New Futuristech.Info

If you come here often then you've realized that a few things have changed.

In fact, that's a bit of an understatement. We've completely overhauled Futuristech.Info to give you, our readers, a better reading, sharing, and learning experience.

Having outgrown our original Weebly site, we migrated away and now reside on our own servers, powered by a 100% custom Ruby on Rails application. We are now in complete control (attention, planets of the Solar Federation...).

What does this mean for you?

Suffice it to say that the world of tech and science news as you know it will never be the same.

Futuristech.Info is now blisteringly fast: faster than the Roadrunner after a couple 5 hour energies; roadrunner speedy speedy faster than the love child of Mario Andretti and Danica Patrick behind the wheel of a rocket-propelled supercar; fast enough to make the Kessel Run in under twelve parsecs (shut up, Chewie! I'm trying to drive!!).

FTI is now fully responsive and optimized for your viewing pleasure on whatever device you may have handy: from the smart watch on your wrist all the way up to the 40 foot screen in your local movie theater, and everywhere in between. Seriously though...talk to the folks at your local Cinemark. Bribe them if necessary.

We've entered into a partnership with our friends at edG Design, a custom web design and development house, in order to give birth to this, our brainchild, and to ensure that we always have access to the very cutting edge of web technologies (at least until the site reaches full sentience and becomes self aware, which we expect will occur sometime late next year...). Thus, the new Futuristech.Info will be continually evolving, and we promise to continue developing newer and better features to better serve you, our readers.

For our RSS subscribers, your feeds will continue to work just fine. We've even added category-based feeds for those who wish to subscribe to a particular category of news (e.g. science, or technology ).

If you have any questions, concerns about the safety of sentient web servers (trust us, it'll be fine!), or ideas for how to make the Futuristech Experience a better one, please don't hesitate to contact us at info@futuristech.info.

If you are completely blown away by what you see and would like to buy us a beer, head on over to our Support page. Donations are unfortunately, not tax deductible. But we would sure appreciate a beer!
